About Me

My love for photography began in High School when my dad gave me my first camera. I took a job in the darkroom developing film and prints that evolved to taking pictures for weekly magazines. I continued with my passion for photography in college by taking a job with a toy catalogue business while completing a degree in Elementary Education. Jump forward 30+ years and now I’m ready to begin my second chapter in life by capturing moments that bring smiles to your face.

Carolee was wonderful! She got there early to scout out the yard for the perfect lighting and backdrops. She was very patient with the kids and took lots of pics of each scene to make sure everyone in the photos had their eyes open and looked their best. We couldn’t have been happier with the experience and the results!

Carolee was an amazing photographer to work with! Scheduling was a breeze, and she thoughtfully considered factors like lighting and scenery that I hadn’t even thought of when choosing our location and time. My kids (5 and 2) aren’t usually fans of getting their pictures taken, but she put them at ease with props and captured them naturally on the playground. By the end, they didn’t want to leave-they wanted her to keep taking more pictures! We received so many compliments on our photos and had a tough time choosing which ones to feature on our holiday cards and hang on our walls. I highly recommend using her and can’t wait to work with her again!

What an absolutely delightful photo shoot with Carolee! Carolee turned our photo session into some of the best family portraits we’ve ever had. Working through several different spots around the park, as well as a thematic wardrobe change, Carolee captured the silliness, spontaneity, and the love that has been the foundation of our family for over ten years. We can’t wait to work with her again.
